It may be cliché, but Paris is one of the world's greatest cities. I just completed my fourth visit there and there were still new things to be seen and done. History, Museums, Nightlife, Shopping, its all there in abundance. Here are some cool things.
Image of the Tour Eiffel from the Place de Concorde. Sweet area with shopping and parks, not far from Louvre and Champs Elysees. U.S. Embassy is nearby. Cool to see but be prepared get a stare down from the cops outside.
The Notre Dame Cathedral. While this is awesome by itself, it is also in a great area for nightlife. Go to the left bank and hit up the Latin Quarter. The Great Canadian Pub is a good spot drinking and chilling. Prices are high, but you are sure to run into an internationally diverse crowd and be able to check out American sports. Hit it up at 25 quai des Grands Augustins. About a 5 minute walk from Notre Dame. www.tgcparis.com
The flagship store of the ultimate brand. Looking to drop 100k on a crocodile skin jacket, or put your name onto a 2 year waitlist for a handbag? Then stop by at 24 Rue de Faubourg St. Honoré. The Sacre Coeur. Highest point in the city, definitely worth hitting up for the views and the interior. Be prepared to hike.Eiffel Tower from over the rooftops by the Sacre Coeur.
Tour Eiffel at night. Fun place to go and drink some vino and meet people. Always packed with an internationally diverse crowd.
